Chứng khoán Mỹ nhuốm sắc đỏ trong ngày thứ Ba khi các nhà giao dịch đánh giá biên bản họp mới nhất của Cục Dự trữ Liên bang Mỹ (Fed) với việc các quan chức không đưa ra bất kỳ tín hiệu nào về việc hạ lãi suất.
Kết thúc phiên giao dịch ngày thứ Ba, Dow Jones Industrial Average trượt 62.75 điểm (tương ứng 0.18%) xuống 35,088.29 điểm. S&P 500 giảm 0.20%, đóng cửa tại 4,538.19 điểm, trong khi Nasdaq Composite rớt 0.59% còn 14,199.98 điểm.
Phiên giảm điểm này đã chấm dứt chuỗi 5 phiên khởi sắc liên tiếp trước đó của cả S&P 500 và Nasdaq Composite.
