AMERICA: LỢI SUẤT TRÁI PHIẾU MỸ PHÁ MỐC 4.9%, LẬP ĐỈNH 16 NĂM
Lợi suất trái phiếu Chính phủ Mỹ leo lên mức cao nhất trong 16 năm, trong khi chứng khoán toàn cầu lao dốc khi nhà đầu tư lo ngại Mỹ có thể tiếp tục nâng lãi suất.
Lợi suất trái phiếu Chính phủ Mỹ kỳ hạn 10 năm tăng 0.07 điểm phần trăm lên 4.91%, cao nhất kể từ năm 2007. Trong khi đó, lợi suất kỳ hạn 30 năm tăng 0.06 điểm phần trăm lên 5.01%.
Lợi suất trái phiếu Mỹ tăng vọt sau khi dữ liệu kinh tế Mỹ cho thấy doanh số bán lẻ tăng mạnh hơn dự báo trong tháng 9/2023 và điều này làm gia tăng nguy cơ Fed tiếp tục nâng lãi suất.
“Nhà đầu tư không muốn giữ trái phiếu vì không chắc chắn về lạm phát”, Lyn Graham-Taylor, Chiến lược gia lãi suất cấp cao tại Rabobank, chia sẻ.
