对于新年宏观政策的执行，多位外资机构分析人士均认为，今年中国财政及货币政策发力仍有空间，且总体将更加积极。
刘晶预计，新的一年，在“以进促稳”的政策基调下，财政政策将更为积极。包含一般公共预算及政府性基金预算在内的广义赤字率将与去年实际水平相当（约占 GDP 的 8%）。
“货币政策的运作亦有更多空间。”刘晶预计，人民银行将在2024年上半年降准50个基点，下半年小幅下调政策利率20个基点，为经济发展及转型提供流动性支持。其他政策亦将采取一致性取向，确保经济保持合理增长势头。
王涛认为，今年的财政赤字可能在3.5%到3.8%左右。与此同时，地方专项债可能将达到4万亿以上规模。同时，在美联储降息预期之下，今年中国货币政策提供更多的宽松空间，预计今年中国央行将进行10-20个点的降息、25-50个点的降准。
