华领医药(02552)创新药出海新突破！第二代GKA在美一期试验完成首例受试者入组
4月26日，华领医药(02552)宣布，其第二代葡萄糖激酶激活剂(第二代GKA)的一期临床试验已于美国正式启动，并完成第一例受试者入组。这标志着华领医药在2型糖尿病药物研发领域再次取得新进展，也是公司将“修复传感、重塑稳态”创新概念拓展至中国以外市场的重要突破。
据了解，华领医药于2023年12月末向FDA递交第二代GKA试验性新药(IND)申请并获受理，该申请于今年1月获批，一期临床试验已于近期正式启动，并已于美国当地时间4月25日完成首例受试者入组。
华领医药创始人、CEO陈力博士表示，第二代GKA在美国提交IND申请后，在短时间内获批并启动一期临床试验、完成首例受试者入组，印证了公司高效的执行效率。公司期待看到第二代GKA一期临床试验能为药物疗效和安全性提供关键数据，为公司在海外市场的布局提供坚实基础。
此外，华领医药保留第二代GKA的全球专利权，一期临床试验顺利完成后，公司计划寻求合作伙伴，推进第二代GKA在全球市场的开发。
