洲际船务(02409)附属与芜湖造船厂订立造船合约
洲际船务(02409)发布公告，于2024年3月15日(联交所交易时段后)，买方Seacon Shipping Pte. Ltd.(公司的间接全资附属公司)与卖方芜湖造船厂有限公司订立造船合约，据此，卖方同意为买方建造船舶，代价为3010万美元。
根据造船合约收购船舶符合集团通过逐步淘汰其陈旧控制船舶并将其替换为较新船舶以及扩大其控制船队，持续优化其船队的策略。
自2023年10月以来，中东产油国持续的冲突及动荡促使对石油运输的需求增加。自2023年第三季度以来，波罗的海成品油运价指数的上涨反映了这一点。此外，公司管理层认为支撑化工产品需求的市况将改善，从而带动全球化工产品物流服务需求增加。通过增加油轮╱化学品船的数量，集团对石油及化工产品的运输能力将会上升，公司将能够更好地满足市场对其石油或化工产品航运服务的需求，产生额外收入并为公司股东创造更大的价值及回报。董事相信，透过收购船舶，集团将能提升其于海运行业的竞争力，并能应对市场对其航运服务的需求。
此外，相较于集团目前运营的其他散货船，船舶更省油且运营效率更高，符合航运行业最近期颁佈的环境法规及现行的规范要求。
