东方电气(01072)发布公告，董事会宣布接获中国东方电气集团有限公司建议提名曾道荣先生为公司第十届董事会独立非执行董事候选人。经考虑公司提名委员会的意见(包括按上市规则第3.13条评估董事侯选人的独立性)，董事会审议通过提名曾道荣先生为董事候选人，并将于临时股东大会上提呈普通决议案审议及批准其委任。建议委任曾道荣先生为独立非执行董事须待临时股东大会批准方可作实。
