洲际船务(02409)就一艘双壳散货船订立融资租赁安排
洲际船务(02409)发布公告，于2024年1月4日，租船人及Seacon Shipping (均为公司间接全资附属公司)与拥有人订立融资租赁安排，根据协议备忘录，Seacon Shipping同意以代价3000万美元向拥有人出售船舶;根据光船租赁，拥有人同意将船舶出租予租船人;及该公司以拥有人为受益人订立担保契据。
船舶为一艘40,000 dwt的在建双壳散货船，预计将于2024年1月12日或之前交付予集团。
集团历来透过多项融资租赁安排向收购控制船舶及其营运提供资金。融资租赁安排使集团能够获得额外的营运资金，并为收购船舶提供融资，这符合集团的现行战略，该战略旨在通过逐步淘汰集团的旧式控制船舶并替换为新式的船舶以优化其船队并扩大其控制船队。董事相信，通过船队优化，集团能够提升其于海运行业的竞争力，并能应对市场对其航运服务的需求。
