第一章我们讲到了海外固收市场的投资标的及美债的研究框架，本章我们将从美国利率市场的理论分析框架讲起。对于利率市场来说，只有在理论框架的基础下，我们对于未来的实际应用才会有一个更直接的映射。
就泰勒法则而言，John Taylor给包括美联储在内的全市场都指明了一个很清晰的方向。在此之前，为什么美联储在1970年代犯了很严重的通胀失控的错误，就是因为没有一个合适的理论框架去指导以怎样的方式、多少的利率是合适的，而泰勒法则是一个从理论界、学界到市场都比较认可的东西。泰勒法则其实在2022年发挥了很大的作用，2022年像劳伦斯·萨默斯（Larry Summers）等老牌的、有影响力的人都不断地对外表达泰勒法则所隐含的利率水平，例如他在2022年认为是8%才合适。虽然没有达到这样的理论值，但至少泰勒法则对于美联储的策略有很清晰的指引。
