Euro Ticks Up After German Retail Sales

The Federal Statistical Office or Destatis has released German retail sales data for July at 02:00 am ET Wednesday. The euro edged up against its major rivals after the data.

The euro was trading at 1.1913 against the greenback, 126.30 against the yen, 1.0848 against the franc and 0.8901 against the pound around 2:05 am ET.
