数字支付公司PayPal日前宣布将以3000亿日元(合近27亿美元)收购日本金融解决方案供应商Paidy，主要以现金形式进行。
据了解，此次收购将允许PayPal扩大其在日本市场的能力和分销。PayPal在最新的公告中也强调了日本电子商务市场的潜力。
Paidy在日本以“先买后付”的方式著名，该公司的支付服务允许日本购物者在网上购物，然后每月在便利店或通过银行转账以综合账单的形式支付。
自2021年初以来，PayPal大幅扩展了其数字支付和加密服务。
日本目前是世界第三大电子商务市场。过去两年，该国支付行业的技术应用大幅跃升。
PayPal表示，这笔27亿美元的收购预计将于今年第四季度完成。
