2016年11月16日，微信公众平台发布公告称，将对发布“二元期权”等违法、违规推广信息的公众号进行处理，相关帐号做永久封禁处理。
此前，重庆市证监局官方网站已将二元期权交易行为定性为“类似于赌博”，并进行了风险提示。
