美联储副主席费希尔当天表示，他预计美联储在未来将渐进加息。目前多数市场分析人士预计，美联储或将在12月加息。
经济数据方面，美国密歇根大学和路透社11日联合发布的报告显示，11月份美国消费者信心指数初值为91.6，高于10月份的87.2。
截至当天收盘，道琼斯工业平均指数比前一交易日上涨39.78点，收于18847.66点，涨幅为0.21%。标准普尔500种股票指数下跌3.03点，收于2164.45点，跌幅为0.14%。纳斯达克综合指数上涨28.32点，收于5237.11点，涨幅为0.54%。
