CPI 不只是一个统计数字，它是联准会（Fed）决定货币政策的「指挥棒」：
如果 CPI 数据太高（通膨严重）： Fed 为了控制物价，通常会升息。升息会带动美元走强，但会增加借贷成本，对股市、黄金、原油以及外汇交易中的非美货币产生压力。
