Eurozone Current Account Surplus Strengthens in October
The Eurozone posted a stronger current account surplus in October, supported mainly by a sharp rise in the goods balance despite weaker services and income flows.
Surplus rose to €32B, up from €29.5B last year.
Goods surplus jumped to €36B, the main driver of improvement.
Services & income weakened, softening the overall boost.
Seasonally adjusted surplus beat forecasts at €25.7B vs €19.6B expected.
