U.S. stock futures rise on increased rate cut optimism; Dell’s outlook impresses
U.S. stock futures ticked higher on Wednesday as growing expectations of a Federal Reserve rate cut in December lifted market sentiment.
As of 05:20 ET (10:20 GMT):
Dow Jones Futures were up 140 points (+0.3%)
S&P 500 Futures added 22 points (+0.3%)
Nasdaq 100 Futures climbed 105 points (+0.4%)
This follows Tuesday’s strong close, where all major Wall Street indices advanced for a third straight session. The Dow Jones posted its best performance since August, jumping nearly 665 points (+1.4%).
