日元：谨慎的日本央行为干预铺平道路
美元/日元今早交投于 156.00以上。隔夜，该货币对在日本央行普遍预期的维持利率被认为是鸽派之后反弹。在修订 2025 财年核心通胀率预测，使其更接近 2% 的目标（1.9%）的同时，市场可能已经预期日本央行将增加针对具体货币的评论，并可能开始量化紧缩。
相反，几乎没有迹象表明决策者对日元的疲软感到担忧，并重申日本央行将 "根据 2024 年 3 月的 MPM 所做的决定进行购买"。唯一的调整是抹去了央行计划每月购买 JBG 数量的一条线，媒体昨天的报道已部分预料到了这一举措。
在日本央行做出决定之前，东京公布了 4 月份的 CPI 数据，结果大幅低于预期。总体指数从 2.6% 降至 1.8%，核心指数从 2.4% 降至 1.6%，比预期低约 0.6%。数据受到了学校补贴的扭曲，但即使排除这种扭曲，数据也显示价格压力低于预期。
日元走软使得干预更有可能发生。但日本官员倾向于更多地关注日元的变化率，而不是美元/日元的具体水平，而且美元/日元和贸易加权日元的波动率都低于 2022 年（日本上次进行干预时）的水平。
