今天又有媒体爆料称，国际知名投行道明证券认为：“新西兰联储将在下周把基准利率提高至5.75%，在5月提高至6%” 作为五眼联盟的成员国，这个组织向来都是政策有趋同性的。新西兰如果真的加息，意味着其他的英美加澳四国也暂时不可能降息。
从侧面也证实了今年上半年美国会维持利率不变。
