Fed官員：今年有望降息三次
兩位今年有決策投票權的聯準會（Fed）官員表示，如果抗通膨繼續取得進展，對今年降息三次持開放態度。舊金山聯準銀行總裁戴利說，今年降息三次是「合理的基本」預期；亞特蘭大聯準銀總裁波斯提克說，他支持在今年夏天某個時候開始降息。
彭博資訊報導，儘管這原本就是Fed官員對年底前政策立場的預期中值，不過在一連串數據顯示通膨反撲後，投資人近來才開始調整對Fed降息的期望，從今年降息六到七次調降。
上周公布的經濟數據，顯示決策官員為何步步為營。美國元月消費者物價指數（CPI）和生產者物價指數（PPI）的升幅，都高於市場預期，促使部分經濟學家預測，Fed偏好的通膨指標個人消費支出（PCE）指數，可能寫下去年稍早以來的最大增幅。
里奇蒙聯準銀總裁巴爾金同日則表達更為謹慎的立場，他說，近來的數據，凸顯央行官員需要看到更多數據，才能啟動降息。
