在这里，“穷人”是一个不带感情色彩的词，指的是为了应付层出不穷的财务问题而被迫为钱终生劳碌的人。
许多实例研究表明，把钱给穷人并不能使他们变得富有。
如今的世界贫富差距
悬殊，事实上，富人有着与穷人不一样的思维，他们总是首先做使自己变富的事情，而穷人则总在做使自己变穷的事情。
用一个人的健康来比喻，通常疾病是由三个部分组成的：
第一是病症，
第二是病体，
第三是病因。
贫穷也是一种病症，它的病体是“穷的人”，而病因是“穷的

他们的生活非常简朴，但精神非常富足；
城里很多非常有钱的人，也可能因为精神上的路乏而过着 “贫穷” 的日子。
很多年前，我认识一个上市公司老板，虽然每天住在五星级酒店里，但房间里常备各种方便面，生活极不规律，熬夜几乎是常态，白天不停会面，打电话，还要频繁管理股票，而且经常因为太忙而饮食不规律，身体还有各种病。这样的故事，其实生活中并少见
