昨日（12月12日）晚间公布了美国11月通胀数据，CPI年率录得3.1%，与预期值一致，低于3.2%的前值；月率录得0.1%，高于0%的前值和预期值。核心CPI年率和月率与预期一致，意味着11月的通胀符合预期。分项来看，呈现出能源价格下跌，服务业价格走高的趋势。
结合上周的非农数据来看，增大了“鹰派暂停”的可能性，并抵消了2024年更大幅度降息的概率。有分析认为，对美联储而言并不是一份好的报告，只能代表疫情以来的物价飙升可能结束，现在的潜在通胀更接近3%，而不是2%。
技术面：黄金自上周以来的空头趋势明显，反弹力度较弱，但下跌或处于尾声。日内上方关注1992美元的阻力，下方关注1972和1964美元的支撑。
