在受到帮助的人心中，对提供帮助的人的感激会递减而递减到一定程度上，受助者几乎已经坦然地接受别人的馈赠，并认为这理所应当。
其实，不仅在物质的收益、满足感、人类的很多心理层面都存在所谓的边际效应，估计就精神意识层还未企及。
