有三种背离方式可以用于判断趋势的拐点：
第一种方式，最近一次外汇交易下跌上升/的角度与上次下跌/上升的角度进行比较。
角度代表速度，代表效率。角度如果有变缓，则表明出现了效率上的背离。这种背离是基于维持原有趋势的力量的效率降低，原有趋势内部力量发生了不利保持原有趋势的变化。
第二种方式，最近一次外汇交易下跌/上升的幅度与上次下跌/上升的幅度比较。
幅度代表总体力量，代表效果，代表耐力。如果幅度降低，则表明出现了总体规模/力量的背离，这种背离是由于原有趋势维持下去的耐力降低，总体力量衰竭。
第三种方式，最近一次反弹/回调的角度和幅度与上次外汇交易反弹/回调的角度和幅度比较。
