週一（22日）美股三大指數早盤高開，但尾盤均跳水，只有道指錄得小幅收高。美國總統拜登提名鮑威爾連任美聯儲主席，引發了市場對美聯儲可能更快收緊政策的預期。美元指數升至2020年9月以來最高水平，金價下跌逾2%。週二（23日）市場重點關注歐美各國製造業PMI和拜登的講話。
本週，美股將迎來感恩節假期，交投或略微清淡。根據歷史數據顯示，美股通常都有不錯表現。CFRA首席投資策略師Sam Stovall說，1950年代迄今，美股在11月最後五個交易日通常都會上漲。在感恩節前一日，市場上漲的可能性為三分之二，在感恩節後一天，市場上漲概率有57%。
