1. 澳洲悉尼（早上三时至中午十二时）- 虽然这个是最少的市场，但同时亦是每周第一个开始交易的市场，所以它的交易往往会有指导性。
2. 日本东京（早上八时至下午四时）- 日本是亚洲区第一个开市的地域，USDJPY往往都会有较大的波幅。日本央行的动作，例如量化宽松释放资金到市场，会直接影响日圆的汇率。
3. 英国伦敦（下午三时至晚上十二时）- 英国是全球最大的外汇交易市场，交易量佔了全世界大约四成，英伦银行的政策会直接影响英镑的走势，而英镑和欧元的移动经常有着密切的关系。
4. 美国纽约（晚上九时至早上五时）- 纽约是全球第二大的外汇交易市场，全球的外汇投资者都会关注这个时段，因为与美元相关的外汇对，例如EURUSD ，AUDUSD，GBPUSD等等，交易佔了市场成交额的大部分。而且纽约股票市场的波动会直影响美元的升跌。
