🌝🌝~Fed Vice Chairman Larry Clarida said the twin surprises of weak job growth and stronger inflation in April had not affected the Fed's plans, and he said it would be "some time" before the U.S. economy heals enough for the central bank to consider withdrawing its crisis-era support. Mr Clarida said that while the recovery in overall output was expected to "gather pace" this year, "the near-term outlook for the Labour market appears more uncertain than the outlook for economic activity".
