荷兰国际集团策略师表示：
当美联储官员进入噤声期后，美元可能会走软，而这对金价来说是利好的。此外，本周经济数据也相对较少，这也对美元利空。
LaSalle Futures Group高级市场策略师Charlie Nedoss表示：
金价在升至1,800美元之前没有太强的阻力，目前100日均线位于1,809美元附近，假以时日，金价也将升至这一价位附近。最重要的是，金价在上周收盘并未收在1,736美元低点下方，这是一个利好的信号。
丹麦盛宝银行大宗商品策略主管Ole Hansen表示：
金价自1,860美元以来的反弹给多头带来了很大的信心，金价反弹的概率很大，唯一问题在于能够反弹到什么程度。但最好是在突破上周四高点之后再买入，同时在1,755美元下方设置一个比较窄的止损。
Blue Line Futures首席投资策略师Phillip Streible也表达了想要在突破上周高点后入场做多，但同时设置一个紧密的追踪止损的想法。
