黄金方面：美国最新公布的CPI数据创2018年8月以来最佳，显示美国通胀预期呈现上升势头。一旦出现通胀抬头，而美债收益率不能继续上冲，那么对黄金而言将是一个重大利好，毕竟黄金与实际利率之间关系密切。
美联储官员在CPI数据公布后轮番在公开讲话中打压通胀预期。里士满联储主席称，预计今年会有通胀压力，但相对而言，现阶段抑制通胀上行的长期因素仍然盖过了推动通胀上行的短期因素。美联储打压通胀预期的结果可能会压低美债收益率，这对黄金是有利因素。
需要注意的是，黄金当前的弱势不因美联储打压通胀预期而获得屏障，因当前美联储的打压更多只是“说说而已”。
技术面：昨日黄金冲高回落，跌幅不大，但对后续走势的影响较大。周二（4月13日）强势逆转令投资者产生多头很强的错觉，昨日的反向K线就像一盆冷水。预计金价将继续在13日与55日区间震荡。上方压力1745美元，下方支撑1725美元。
