美元指数在周三亚市早盘继续维持坚挺走势，隔夜曾大涨0.5%，收复上周五的跌幅，因全球投资者对美元现金的避险需求重新涌现。之前，强生等制药公司各自爆出疫苗研发进程受挫的负面消息，这叠加全球多地疫情的继续爆发，令市场恐慌情绪进一步升温。 而这消息也同时叠加上了市场机构的另一普遍预期，即美联储仍在继续等待国会出台财政刺激政策行动，因而短期内不会有更大货币宽松预期，这进一步推动了美元汇价走升。而欧系与商品系货币则在此过程中普遍承压。尤其，在英国将在周三启动新一轮强化封锁措施，重灾区利物浦市周三起再度关闭一切室内营业场所的背景下，英镑更是自隔夜以来录得了超过150点的暴跌，并完全回吐了此前因为脱欧谈判进展有望而录得的涨幅。
