中国制造汽车的知名企业吉利集团，收购了盛宝银行大约30%股份。丹麦多资产经纪公司盛宝银行于5月5日宣布，该公司的创始人之一，Lars Seier Christiansen，将其在盛宝银行的25.71%的股权出售给了吉利集团香港子公司，某些中小股东亦可跟随出售，这将使吉利持股超过30%。目前，此项收购还在等待监管审核结果，如获批准，财务交割有望于2017年第四季度完成。据盛宝银行官网公布的信息显示，该行2015年的营业收入为21.267亿丹麦克朗(约合人民币21.78亿)，净利润为6.446亿丹麦克朗，总资产为335.016亿丹麦克朗，管理资产规模为142.27亿丹麦克朗。盛宝银行以外汇线上交易平台起家，后来产品线逐渐延伸至多种资产，业务范围几乎覆盖全球，现在主打线上多元资产交易平台，提供外汇、股票、ETFs、期货、期权等3万余种交易产品。
