首先说明图形的级别和走势/买卖点的级别没有严格的对应关系。图形只是观察的工具，而级别是走势属性。越小级别的走势，需要到更小的级别图上才能找到。
图1是日线图，有3个高点（最后一个还没确认）和2个低点，连接起来就是日线级别的走势，高低点对应的是日线级别的买卖点。
0-3走了ABC三段平台型调整，因此0-3可以直接合并为一段，波浪理论把ABC浪命名为W浪，是更大级别的WXY浪第一浪。因此，显然对于买点来说，3的级别比1更大， 可以把3看做周线级别的买点，而1只是日线级别的买点。
图2是60分钟图，可以看到日线级别以下的走势和买卖点。每一段日线级别的走势都是由次一级别（姑且定义为30分钟级别）的走势组成，图中以带1位小数的数字标识。
举一反三，可以知道如果看更小级别的图（比如15分钟图），30分钟级别的走势又是由5分钟级别的走势组成，可以用带2位小数的数字标识。
虽然可以无限的分解下去，但真正有操作意义的最小级别的图是5分钟图和5F级别。
