当地时间5月16日，欧盟反垄断机构对英国巴克莱银行、苏格兰皇家银行、花旗集团、摩根大通和三菱日联处以合计10.7亿欧元的罚款，称上述五家银行串通操纵11种货币汇率，相互交换商业敏感信息和交易计划。
众所周知，外汇市场体量是全球金融最大的体量，也是相对比较公平的市场。一个国家或者机构很难操纵，但有些掌握着流动性的国际巨头银行利益的驱使，不惜铤而走险，串通起来联合操纵货币市场。这给不管是机构或者是零售市场带来极大的冲击。剪散户羊毛这样的行为，必须重罚！
