随着油价下跌 拜登重启补充美国战略石油储备的计划
【友财网讯】-拜登政府正在利用油价下跌的机会重新启动计划，以补充其耗尽的紧急石油储备。
美国能源部(Energy Department)周二宣布，将在10月份为战略石油储备(Strategic Petroleum Reserve)申请至多330万桶原油。油价上涨导致美国能源部上月取消了一项类目的提议，理由是这不符合纳税人的最佳利益。
在俄罗斯入侵乌克兰后，拜登政府史无前例地减少了创纪录的1.8亿桶石油储备，此后美国能源部一直在缓慢补充7亿多桶的战略石油储备，这一储备降至40年来的最低水平。根据美国能源部的数据，美国目前的石油储量约为3.67亿桶，低于2022年初的近6亿桶。
有迹象表明石油市场供应充足，OPEC+增加产量的可能性等因素导致油价下跌，周二交易价格约为每桶78美元，低于美国政府宣布的每桶79美元及以下的购买区间。
"我们正在回购，我们希望以对纳税人有利的价格回购。"美国能源部长詹妮弗·格兰霍姆（Jennifer Granholm）上月在国会听证会上被问及补充石油储备的计划时表示。
根据美国能源部的数据，自去年以来，拜登政府以76.98美元的平均价格购买了3230万桶石油。
