IDXChannel - Indeks saham utama Wall Street menguat pada pembukaan perdagangan Senin (20/5). Pelaku pasar menanti rilis pertemuan Federal Reserve untuk mencari petunjuk terkait kebijakan suku bunga.
Pekan ini investor juga menunggu laporan kuartalan Nvidia yang diekspektasikan dapat mempertahankan pertumbuhan di antara para pesaingnya. Produsen chip itu dijadwalkan merilis laporan keuangan para Rabu depan.
Mengekor Wall Street, Bursa Asia Ijo Royo-RoyoMelansir Reuters, Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) naik 0,07% di 39.974,66, S&P 500 (.SPX) menguat 0,02% menjadi 5.304,26, dan Nasdaq Komposit (.IXIC) menghijau 0,07% menjadi 16.698,31.
Ketiga indeks pasar modal Amerika Serikat menandai kenaikan minggu keempat berturut-turut pada Jumat lalu. Sentimen pendukungnya datang dari realisasi pendapatan perusahaan yang melebih ekspektasi sekaligus penurunan inflasi, yang mendukung adanya penurunan suku bunga tahun ini.
