Nilai Tukar Dolar AS Melemah, Harga Minyak Dunia Naik

Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia naik pada Selasa (23/4/2024) dipicu pelemahan nilai tukar dolar Amerika Serikat.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman Mei 2024 naik US$1,46, atau sekitar 1,8 persen, menjadi US$83,36 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman Juni 2024 meningkat US$1,42, atau sekitar 1,6 persen, menjadi US$88,42 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Nilai tukar dolar AS melemah setelah data S&P Global menunjukkan aktivitas bisnis AS berkurang pada April ke level terendah dalam empat bulan terakhir akibat merosotnya permintaan.

Melemahnya nilai tukar dolar AS membuat komoditas yang diperdagangkan dalam mata uang tersebut, termasuk minyak mentah, menjadi lebih murah bagi pemilik dana dalam mata uang lain.
