外汇局官方宣布中国扩大资本账户开放计划
一位高级外汇监管机构表示，中国计划简化资本进出该国的流动，并促进金融市场放松管制。 目的是在地缘政治紧张局势不断升级的情况下吸引更多外国投资者。
在一年一度的博鳌亚洲论坛上，国家外汇管理局副局长徐志斌概述了这一战略，强调加强境内外金融市场互联互通的意图。 这包括扩大投资机会，吸引更多投资者进入中国金融市场。
徐还承诺支持优质中国企业在境外发行股票和债券，同时鼓励主权财富基金和其他机构投资者系统性地进行境外投资。
近年来，对中国经济稳定性、政策方向以及与美国紧张关系的担忧导致许多全球投资者减少对中国的投资或将投资分散到中国以外的地区。 此外，由于中国和西方当局对国家和数据安全问题的审查力度加大，中国公司的海外上市数量有所下降。
