Pasardana.id - Penjualan Gucci turun 20 persen pada kuartal pertama tahun ini dipicu perlambatan permintaan di Asia.

Seperti dilansir BBC News, Rabu (20/3/2024), sekitar sepertiga penjualan Gucci terjadi di Tiongkok. Melambatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi Negeri Panda berpengaruh terhadap penjualan Gucci pada 2024.

Kering merupakan pemilik brand Gucci, selain juga brand Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, dan Bottega Veneta. Perolehan laba operasional Gucci mencakup dua pertiga perolahan laba operasional Kering tahun lalu.

Bulan lalu, Kering melaporkan penurunan perolehan laba bersih sebesar 17 persen pada 2023. Saham Kering telah merosot 23 persen dalam setahun terakhir dan terjun 11,9 persen pada Rabu.

Kondisi berbeda dialami rival Kering, LVMH, yang memiliki brand Louis Vuitton, Moet & Chandon, dan Hennessy. LVMH berhasil mencatatkan peningkatan penjualan di luar ekspektasi pada 2023.

Hermes juga mencatatkan rekor penjualan tahunan tahun lalu dengan rencana pemberian bonus terhadap seluruh karyawannya.
