IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street melemah pada awal perdagangan Jumat (15/3/2024. Inflasi yang tinggi dikhawatirkan berdampak pada waktu penurunan suku bunga pertama oleh Federal Reserve.
Hal tersebut mengguncang saham-saham yang sensitif terhadap suku bunga menjelang pertemuan bank sentral minggu depan.
Bursa Asia Perkasa Mengekor Wall Street, Sikap The Fed Masih Jadi Fokus PasarMelansir Reuters, pada pukul 10.02 pagi waktu setempat, Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) turun 149,00 poin atau 0,38% pada 38,756.66. S&P 500 (.SPX) turun 33,83 poin atau 0,66 % di 5,116.65. Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) melemah 141,76 poin atau 0,88% menjadi 15.986,77.
Delapan dari 11 sektor utama S&P 500 diperdagangkan lebih rendah dengan teknologi informasi (.SPLRCT) menjadi yang paling terpukul, turun 1,4%.
