Wall Street Dibuka Semringah Sambut Data Inflasi Produsen
IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street dibuka menguat pada Kamis (14/3/2024) menyambut data inflasi di tingkat produsen yang lebih tinggi dari perkiraan.
Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) menguat 0,529% menjadi 39.157,74. S&P 500 (.SPX) dibuka naik 0,16% di 5.173,70, sementara Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) melesat 0,17% menjadi 16.204,55.
Inflasi AS dan China Kompak Naik, Bagaimana Dampaknya ke Pasar?Indeks harga produsen (PPI) Amerika Serikat menguat 1,6% year-on-year (yoy) pada Februari 2024. Angka ini melebihi ekspektasi pasar sebesar 1,1% yoy. Secara bulanan PPI juga naik 0,6% month-on-month (MoM), di atas ekspektasi pasar 0,3% mom.
PPI inti yang tidak termasuk komponen pangan dan energi juga tumbuh 2,0% yoy, dan naik 0,3% MoM. Kedua data ini lebih panas dari periode sebelumnya.
