IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street dibuka beragam pada Rabu (13/3/2024). Kenaikan tingkat inflasi Amerika Serikat (AS) masih menjadi perhatian investor, sembari menanti data penjualan ritel yang akan diumumkan Kamis pekan depan.
S&P 500 melemah 0,08% menjadi 5.171,61, sementara Nasdaq Composite melandai 0,35% ke level 16,209.09. Di sisi lain, Dow Jones Industrial Average naik 46 poin menjadi 39.051,86.
Bursa Asia Perkasa Mengekor Wall Street, Sikap The Fed Masih Jadi Fokus PasarBiro Statistik Tenaga Kerja AS mencatat inflasi sebesar 3,2% year-on-year (yoy) pada Februari 2024. Angka ini melebihi ekspektasi pasar sesuai data yang disurvei Bloomberg sebesar 3,1%.
Melansir Investing, Rabu (13/3/2024), data inflasi yang lebih kuat dari perkiraan tidak banyak membebani spekulasi bahwa Federal Reserve akan mulai memotong suku bunga pada Juni.
