Inflasi Amerika Naik 3,2 Persen pada Februari 2024
IDXChannel - Inflasi di Amerika Serikat (AS) meningkat 3,2 persen secara year-on-year (yoy) pada Februari 2024. Angka ini melebihi ekspektasi pasar sebagaimana menurut ekonom yang disurvei Bloomberg sebesar 3,1%.
Data Biro Statistik Tenaga Kerja AS, Selasa (12/3/2024), menunjukkan inflasi inti yang tidak termasuk komponen energi dan pangan juga naik 3,8% yoy, alias di atas perkiraan sebesar 3,7% yoy.
Bank Sentral Eropa Pertahankan Suku Bunga meski Inflasi MeredaSecara bulanan, inflasi AS di 0,4% month-on-month (MoM), lebih tinggi dari bulan Januari yang mencapai 0,3%. Inflasi inti bulanan juga mencapai 0,4% MoM melebihi ekspektasi 0,3%.
Mengutip Financial Times, angka inflasi indeks harga konsumen (CPI) ini diperkirakan akan memainkan peranan penting dalam pertemuan bank sentral AS atau Federal Reserve pekan depan.
