Produksi OPEC+ Naik, Harga Minyak Dunia Turun

Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia turun pada Jumat (8/3/2024) dipicu peningkatan produksi minyak mentah OPEC+.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman April 2024 turun 92 sen, atau sekitar 1,2 persen, menjadi US$78,01 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman Mei 2024 merosot 88 sen, atau sekitar 1,1 persen, menjadi US$82,08 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Dalam sepekan terakhir, harga minyak WTI dan Brent masing-masing turun 2,5 persen dan 1,8 persen.

Menurut data yang dirilis Rystad Energy, produksi minyak OPEC+ meningkat 212.000 barel per hari pada Februari. Peningkatan yang terjadi memberikan tekanan terhadap harga minyak dunia.

Sementara itu, perusahaan jasa perminyakan Baker Hughes pada Jumat merilis laporan yang menyebutkan bahwa jumlah fasilits pemboran minyak yang aktif di Amerika Serikat turun dua menjadi 504 pekan ini, mencapai jumlah terendah sejak 23 Februari.
