Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia turun pada Selasa (5/3/2024) dipicu ekspektasi pelemahan permintaan.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman April 2024 turun 59 sen, atau sekitar 0,8 persen, menjadi US$78,15 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman Mei 2024 merosot 76 sen, atau sekitar 0,9 persen, menjadi US$82,04 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Tiongkok menargetkan pertumbuhan ekonomi 5 persen pada 2024, sama dengan target pertumbuhan tahun lalu dan sesuai dengan ekspektasi para analis. Namun minimnya stimulus membuat para analis meragukan tercapainya target tersebut.

Melambatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi Tiongkok akan memangkas impor minyak negara tersebut. Negeri Panda merupakan negara importir minyak terbesar di dunia.
