【友财网讯】-可可价格上周飙升至历史高点，原因是恶劣的天气条件打击了西非的作物产量。西非的可可产量占全球产量的四分之三。
自今年年初以来，可可期货价格已飙升逾1000美元，涨幅近40%，创下每吨5874美元的历史新高。
厄尔尼诺天气现象导致西非气温更干燥，影响了加纳和科特迪瓦这两个最大的可可豆生产国的作物产量。
道明资产管理公司(TD Asset Management)大宗商品分析师哈姆扎·侯赛因(Humza Hussain)对CNBC表示:“不断变化的天气模式意味着可可的潜在产量现在永久性受损。”
好时(Hershey)首席执行官米歇尔·巴克(Michele Buck)表示，由于可可价格处于历史高位，该公司今年的盈利增长将持平。好时公布第四季度净利润为3.49亿美元，同比下降近12%。
巴克在接受CNBC采访时表示:“当我们看到创纪录的可可价格时，当然这是一个充满活力的市场，这是一个挑战，但我们以前经历过市场波动和投入成本波动。”
她说:“我们有一个很好的对冲策略，到2024年，我们对这些投入的价格有很好的可见性。”
