IDXChannel - Penurunan penjualan mobil secara wholesales periode Januari 2024 sebesar 18,4% dibandingkan Desember 2023 dinilai dapat menjadi pemberat bagi sejumlah saham sektor otomotif.
Adapun kontraksi terhadap penjualan pada bulan pertama 2024 salah satunya disebabkan oleh melemahnya penjualan dari hampir seluruh merek.

Investment Analyst Stockbit Michael Owen Kohana mengatakan, penjualan yang relatif lemah ini berpotensi menjadi sentimen negatif terhadap saham otomotif seperti PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS), PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO), dan PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA).
