Harga Minyak Dunia Turun di Awal Pekan

Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia mengalami penurunan pada Senin (8/1/2024) setelah sempat meningkat sesi sebelumnya.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman Februari 2024 turun US$3,04, atau sekitar 4,1 persen, menjadi US$70,77 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman Maret 2024 merosot US$2,64, atau sekitar 3,4 persen, menjadi US$76,12 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Harga minyak dunia turun setelah Arab Saudi memangkas harga jual resmi minyak mentah Arab Light untuk pengiriman Februari 2024 ke Asia ke level terendah dalam 27 bulan terakhir akibat meningkatnya pasokan dan kompetisi dari negara-negara produsen lainnya.

Selain pemangkasan harga Arab Light, harga minyak dunia juga terpengaruh laporan yang menyebutkan bahwa produksi minyak OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) meningkat pada Desember 2023 setelah Angola, Irak, dan Nigeria meningkatkan produksi.
