Wall Street Dibuka Melemah Tertekan Kekhawatiran Suku Bunga The Fed
IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street melemah pada pembukaan perdagangan Kamis (4/1/2023). Hasil pertemuan Federal Reserve (The Fed) kembali membangkitkan kekhawatiran investor terkait suku bunga.
Ekspektasi atas pemangkasan Fed Rate kembali diuji. Terutama setelah sejumlah pejabat bank sentral itu mengisyaratkan suku bunga masih tinggi dan akan bertahan lama.
Bursa Asia Melemah, Ikuti Jejak Wall Street usai Rilis Risalah Rapat The FedDow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) melemah 0,37% menjadi 37.548,28. S&P 500 (.SPX) turun 0,56% di 4.743.13, sedangkan Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) merosot 0,87%, menjadi 14.880.19.
Risalah The Fed yang dirilis siang tadi menghadirkan ketidakpastian. Kendati para pengambil keputusan ini sepakat tingkat suku bunga telah mencapai puncaknya, beberapa pihak justru mengisyaratkan level bunga saat ini akan tetap tinggi, tergantung laju inflasi AS.
