Wall Street Dibuka Semringah, S&P 500 Dekati Level All Time High
IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street dibuka tak kompak pada Kamis (28/12/2023) menyambut data tingkat pengangguran. Indeks S&P 500 (SPX) mendekati level tertinggi sepanjang masa di tengah harapan penurunan suku bunga lebih awal pada 2024.
Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) naik 0,11% menjadi 37.698,18. S&P 500 (.SPX) menguat 0,16% di 4.789.38, sedangkan Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) tumbuh 0,30%, menjadi 15.144.75.

Dari sisi sentimen, investor mencerna laporan klaim pengangguran yang meningkat menjadi 218 ribu per 23 Desember 2023. Kenaikan jumlah warga yang tidak bekerja mengindikasikan pelemahan permintaan tenaga kerja.
