Bos Besar Freeport Bertemu Erick Thohir, Ini yang Dibahas
Bos Besar Freeport-McMoRan bertemu Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir. Pertemuan itu berlangsung di Kantor Kementerian BUMN, Jakarta.
Ada dua petinggi Freeport yang bertemu Erick Thohir. Mereka adalah Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Freeport-McMoRan, dan Kathleen L. Quirk President and a member of the Board of Directors of Freeport-McMoRan.
Pertemuan tersebut disampaikan Erick Thohir lewat akun Instagram erickthohir, Selasa (12/12/2023). Selain Richard Adkerson, hadir pula Presiden Freeport-McMoRan Kathleen L. Quirk.

"Sore ini kedatangan dua petinggi Freeport McMoran USA, Richard Adkerson dan Kathleen Quirk. Pertemuan ini tindak lanjut diskusi pada November lalu di Washington D.C," ujar Erick Thohir dalam akun Instagramnya, Selasa (12/12/2023).
Menurut Erick materi yang dibahas adalah soal pembangunan smelter Freeport di Gresik, Jawa Timur hingga investasi Freeport di Indonesia.
"Kami membahas berbagai perkembangan investasi PT Freeport Indonesia serta memastikan penyelesaian pembangunan Smelter di Gresik, Jawa Timur," terang Erick Thohir.
Erick menambahkan smelter Freeport akan dibuka pada Kamis, (14/12/2023), dan pembangunan tahap kedua akan rampung pada Mei 2024.
