Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia turun pada Jumat (24/11/2023) dipicu meredanya tensi geopolitik Timur Tengah setelah kelompok militer Hamas melepas beberapa sandera di Jalur Gaza.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman Januari 2024 turun US$1,56, atau sekitar 2 persen, menjadi US$75,54 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman Januari 2024 merosot 84 sen, atau sekitar 1 persen, menjadi US$80,58 per barel di London ICE Futures.

Kelompok pertama sandera yang dibebaskan dari Jalur Gaza telah kembali ke Israel pada Jumat, hari pertama dari empat hari gencatan senjata yang rencananya akan berlangsung pertukaran sandera dengan rakyat Palestina yang ditahan Israel.

Perhatian para investor selanjutnya akan tertuju kepada pertemuan OPEC+ yang berlangsung 30 November mendatang. Pertemuan seharusnya berlangsung 26 November, namun diundur karena para negara anggota OPEC+ kesulitan mencapai konsensus tingkat produksi.
