BP Catatkan Perolehan Laba US$3,3 Miliar

Pasardana.id - Perusahaan migas Inggris BP pada Selasa (31/10/2023) melaporkan perolehan laba sebesar US$3,3 miliar, atau sekitar Rp53,triliun, pada periode Juli sampai September 2023, lebih rendah dari ekspektasi perolehan laba US$4 miliar.

Pada kuartal sebelumnya, BP mencatatkan perolehan laba sebesar US$2,6 miliar.

Seperti dilansir BBC News, perolehan laba BP jauh lebih rendah dari kuartal yang sama tahun lalu, yang mencapai US$8,1 miliar berkat terjadinya invasi Rusia ke Ukraina.

Laporan perolehan laba yang dirilis merupakan yang pertama usai Bernard Looney mengundurkan diri dari jabatan CEO pada September lalu. Looney sebelumnya memimpin BP sejak 2020.

BP saat ini dipimpin CEO interim Murray Auchincloss. Menurut Auchincloss, kuartal terakhir sangat solid bagi BP sehingga para pemegang saham dapat mengharapkan dividen yang tinggi tahun ini.
